Treatment costs are calculated individually, according to the effort involved, the materials used and the indication. The amounts listed here are starting prices for the medical service; the specific calculation is made in the personal initial consultation. Where a procedure is medically indicated — a breast reduction or upper eyelid surgery, for instance — the health insurer may cover part of the cost.

Every treatment is calculated individually. So that you still know the order of magnitude, we state starting prices — and explain which items can arise on top of them.

Medical service
The starting price refers to the medical treatment itself — surgery or injection, carried out by Dr. Weinschenk personally. It is a binding minimum price, not a flat rate.

Clinic & anaesthesia
For surgical procedures, fees for anaesthesia, the operating theatre and, where applicable, an overnight stay are added. These are shown separately — depending on the procedure, the form of anaesthesia and the length of stay.

VAT
Purely aesthetic procedures without a medical indication are subject to VAT (plus 19% VAT). Where there is a medical indication, VAT may not apply — we clarify that in the initial consultation.

Why the consultation costs €100.
The initial consultation is a medical service — a history, an examination and an honest assessment of the indication, even where the conclusion is that a procedure is not the right step at the moment. A free consultation is not permitted under the professional code (Berufsordnung) of the Bayerische Landesärztekammer. No sales pitch, no pressure — you go home with a written assessment and your specific cost estimate.
Health insurance
When does the insurer contribute?
For individual procedures with a medical indication — a breast reduction where there are orthopaedic symptoms, for instance, or upper eyelid surgery where the visual field is restricted — partial cover is possible. That is always a decision on the individual case by your health insurer and not a guarantee. Purely aesthetic procedures are not covered.
